Coir Twine

Product – Coir bristle fibre entangled with a gliding thread in the middle is strongly twisted to form coir twine.

Specification – 2 ply twines is offered with different thicknesses ranging from 3 mm – 8 mm, length can be varied according to customer requirement.

Variations – Different colours can be offered apart from natural coir colour.

Packing – Can be customized to varying lengths, different packing types like flat cones, round cones, spools, coils, short hanks etc. Depending on the size can put in cartons or in bales.

Application

• Gardening and Horticulture: Coir twine is commonly used in gardening for staking and tying plants, such as tomatoes, beans, or vines. Its natural biodegradability makes it ideal for use in the garden, as it can be composted along with plant material after use. It’s also used in nurseries to support saplings and small trees.

• Agriculture: In agriculture, coir twine is often used for tying and bundling crops. It can also be used to support trellis systems for climbing plants like cucumbers, melons, or hops.
