Coir Pillows

Product – Coir pillows are large, biodegradable erosion control products made from densely packed coconut fibers (coir) into a bag made from coir geotextiles.

Specification – Normally 1 – 2 m size square shape products. Depending on the customer requirements size of the pillow can be varied.

Variations – Size & density of the pillow can be varied.

Packing – in bundles floor loaded, palletized.

Application

• Widely used in roof greening applications.

• Wetland and Habitat Restoration: Used to restore or create natural habitats for wetland species, improving ecological health.

• Stormwater Management: In urban areas, coir pillows can be used in bioswales and drainage channels to control water flow and reduce erosion.
