Coir Logs

Product – Coir logs are made with a tube made from machine twisted coir twine, tightly filled with coir fibre.

Specification – Available in different sizes as length of the log & diameter can be customized. Popular sizes - Length 1 m – 6 m, diameter 20 cm – 40 cm. Weight varies based on size. Eye size of the diamond netting is 5cm x 5 cm, Square netting 2 cm x 2cm.

Variations – Coir logs can be made with either coir netting or synthetic netting. Net shape diamond or square shape. With or without plant holes for pre-planting prior to installation.

Packing – Rolls palletized, or floor loaded.

Application – Coir logs are an excellent natural solution for erosion control, especially in environmentally sensitive areas like slopes, shorelines, and stream banks. The biodegradable nature of coir logs also means that they provide temporary support, and as they break down, the newly established plants take over the role of stabilization. They are an eco-friendly solution for erosion control and habitat restoration.
